The Verde Village Property Owners Association (VVPOA) was awarded $5,000 for improvements to the Verde River Nature Preserve. The VVPOA iscommitted to keeping this area free from development that may impinge onthe river. Historically, this part of the Verde River has been where familieshaveenjoyed fishing, swimming and recreation.
Keeping the Nature Preserve and Pond as clean accessible areas for ourresident to use, adds value to all of the properties and makes this a desirableplace to live. By helping to maintain property values, our local economybenefits. Signage will be installed that promotes these areas so thatresidents realize this is a benefit to the health of our community. Funds will also be used to provide maps of the trails and checklists ofbirds, wildlife and native vegetation.
