Residents whose properties adjoin the river suffer a litany of problems from trespass, to dumping, to off-road vehicle traffic. Those residents, as well as public land managers, whose properties adjoin the river, are requesting the posting of a variety of signs along the corridor, at river access points, parks and on public and private land. The signs would notify hikers, boaters and other recreationists when they are entering private land, when to remain in their boats and what sort of conduct is expected, from the private property owners as well as the community at large. $4850 was awarded in June 2016 for this project.
