Eve Fischer
Restoration and GIS Specialist
Eve Fischer is our Restoration and GIS Specialist. She has experience in outdoor education, forest health monitoring, teaching GIS, dendrochronology, and fire science. Before joining Friends, she worked on field crews for the Forest Ecosystem Monitoring Cooperative in Vermont and for the Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park. Eve graduated with her B.S. in Geography and Environmental Planning from the University of Maine at Farmington, and went on to earn her Masters in Geography from Northern Arizona University in 2025. Outside of work, Eve enjoys hiking, playing the fiddle, and making art.
