Emily Snelling has over twenty-five years of nonprofit administration experience, serving as executive director and development director at diverse urban and rural organizations. She also has experience in philanthropy and the grant-making foundation sector. As a swimmer, stand-up paddle boarder, and all-around water lover, Emily was drawn to the Verde Valley by its rivers. Emily is also an avid gardener with a deep interest in sustainable approaches and dryland water management. Emily is honored to be part of Friends of the Verde River’s mission, protecting Arizona’s rivers and unique ecosystems for both people and wildlife.
