Abby Schuh
River Friendly Living Program Assistant
Abby is the River Friendly Living Program Assistant at Friends of the Verde River, serving as an AmeriCorps member. She graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Prior to joining Friends, Abby served in another AmeriCorps position with the City of Flagstaff as a Water Conservation Aide, where she worked closely with the Water Services department and community members to implement a variety of water conservation strategies. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge at Friends of the Verde River and to collaborate with an amazing team and surrounding communities. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors, especially trail running and rock climbing. She is grateful for this opportunity and looks forward to the months ahead with Friends of the Verde River.
