Introducing your new favorite beer!
Most of us know by now that where we spend our money matters. Friends of the Verde River is proud to partner with businesses across the Verde River Watershed to put that money to work! Since the start of the Verde Conservation Partner program, participating businesses have put over $75,000 back into our communities to support a healthy Verde River.
We are excited to announce our first beer collaboration with Smelter Town Brewery in Clarkdale, Arizona. This great team has shown their commitment to supporting a healthy Verde River, by creating a beer that directly aids in river conservation! For every sale of the new “Together We Can Fly” pale ale, a donation will be made to Friends of the Verde River. Smelter Town Brewery has also taken steps to offset all of the water used in the production of this beer, keeping precious water in our rivers and streams. They hope to support the river as a sanctuary for the amazing birds that live in our area. “Together We Can Fly” is brewed with Falconers Flight hops, and will be a refreshing way to beat the heat this summer (while drinking in support of the Verde River!). Join in on May 8th at Smelter Town Brewery for the release of this and other new beers.
