Friends of the Verde River (Friends) is excited to announce that Anna May Cory has joined the Board of Directors of Friends of the Verde River. Effective at the most recent Board meeting, Cory was voted in and was graciously accepted by the Friends’ Board as its newest Board Director.
An accomplished entrepreneur, community ambassador, and a licensed Real Estate Broker int the State of Arizona, Cory brings extensive experience in building and expanding businesses while promoting health, sustainability, and local economies. With a successful track record in the retail and hospitality sectors, Anna May is a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother committed to the growth and prosperity of Cottonwood, Arizona. Along with serving on the Friends’ Board, Anna May also serves as an ambassador for the Greater Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce.
Currently, Anna May Cory owns and operates The Pines Inn and Suites in Cottonwood, Arizona, alongside her family. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hospitality business, from daily operations to customer service and business development. Under her guidance, The Pines Inn and Suites has become synonymous with outstanding customer satisfaction.
