Join Friends of the Verde River as we celebrate our 10th year as a non-profit! Enjoy libations, connect with your community, and help us honor those who paved the way for the success of our organization. We’ll enjoy live music, light fare, drinks, a cork pull, a raffle, a silent auction, and more! This year, Friends will honor former board president Chip Norton and two of founding board members, Peggy Chaikin and Marsh Foutz, for their incredible dedication to the Verde River. Come see who will win the President’s Award, River Friendly Living Partner of the Year, Business Partner of the Year, Nonprofit Partner of the Year, Agency Partner of the Year, River Stewardship Partner of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year. Join us and help celebrate our 10th year of working with devoted River Heroes like you to preserve the Verde!

Fiesta de la Garza is an annual celebration hosted by Friends of the Verde River. At Fiesta, we honor some of the supporters, partners and organizations who have gone above and beyond to help our mission over the past year. Fiesta is an opportunity for community members to come together and learn about Friends’ latest projects, participate in silent raffles, and make new connections with other Friends supporters within the community.
