Meet Isaac Dudley from the River Friendly Living program and the Business for Water Stewardship team for Pints for the Verde at Verde Brewing Company on Friday, March 14, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This fun and casual gathering is all about celebrating River Friendly Living and raising awareness for grant opportunities that support water conservation and habitat restoration in Camp Verde.
Enjoy live music, local beer, and delicious food while learning how residents and businesses can apply for grants that help protect the river. Plus, attendees who fill out the River Friendly Living checklist will receive tickets for food and drinks!
Grant Opportunities for River-Friendly Projects
The annual River Friendly Living Grants support on-the-ground conservation projects. These grants are made possible by businesses participating in the program and are available annually to all participants. Homeowners can apply for up to $1,000 to support their conservation projects, while businesses and organizations can apply for up to $5,000 annually. Some project examples include lawn removal, water efficiency upgrades, habitat improvement, and community education programs.
