Get Involved
Join Friends of the Verde River for a special community celebration as we officially launch our newest children’s book, Otter Spotter, written by beloved children’s author Phoebe Fox.
This family-friendly event will feature a live book reading by Phoebe Fox, followed by an interactive opportunity for kids and parents to learn about Friends of the Verde River’s Otter Spotter program — a fun and educational way for families to help track and protect river otters in the Verde River watershed.
River otters are an important indicator of river health, and this event is a wonderful opportunity for young readers and families to connect with wildlife, storytelling, and conservation.
