Friends of the Verde River is proud to certify TinyCamp Cottonwood Resort as a Silver Level River Friendly Development! This great team revealed their 4-unit tiny home development at the Sedona XYZ 4th anniversary event on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. TinyCamp Cottonwood voluntarily went above and beyond in their use of conservation strategies. They included a greywater capture system, created a rain harvesting system, removed invasive plants, and enhanced the native habitat. The greywater capture system at the new development captures water from showers to irrigate a pollinator garden. TinyCamp Cottonwood also purchased Verde River Exchange credits to offset the first 5 years of their water use. This team is expected to capture up to 20,000 gallons of water a year!
